Professional Profile
Mr. Morris is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on complex and other federal criminal litigation. He has substantial federal trial experience in cases involving allegations of business and bank fraud, healthcare fraud, mortgage fraud and general criminal violations. He represents clients in investigations and proceedings involving corporate governance, Medicare fraud, environmental compliance, banking and securities fraud, and Internet fraud. Mr. Morris also assists in internal investigations and provides advice to corporations on coordinating defense strategy and response to prosecutorial scrutiny.

Mr. Morris has been recognized in Best Lawyers of America and consistently named Best of the Bar for the Kansas City area. He has been designated a Super Lawyer for Missouri and Kansas. In 2007, and he was awarded the distinction of "40 Under 40" by Ingrams, the Kansas City Business Magazine, for his professional and civic accomplishments.

Mr. Morris participates in the Earl O'Connor Inn of Court and periodically serves as an instructor for NITA training workshops as well as law school seminars. He has authored a number of articles about legal issues in the federal criminal context, including published work in the Kansas Bar Journal and in Modern Healthcare magazine.
