Mr. Williams has extensive experience in defending business and other commercial litigation matters in a wide variety of contract, tort and statutory concerns, including large-scale class actions. For the past 6 years, Mr. Williams has acted as class-action counsel for Missouri and Kansas for a major U.S. employer, defending multiple class actions in both federal and state courts. For the past 14 years, Mr. Williams has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to defending motor vehicle manufacturers in franchise-related litigation across the country. Mr. Williams presently serves as counsel for a number of manufacturers, both foreign and domestic, that are subject to motor vehicle franchise statutes, including manufacturers of automobiles, trucks (light and heavy duty), motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and watercraft. Mr. Williams has handled performance termination cases, relocations, add points, transfer denials, warranty reimbursement litigation and various other disputes with former, current and prospective dealers before courts and administrative agencies across the nation, including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.
