Professional Profile
After Law school, Mr. Berkowitz served as Law Clerk to a United States District Judge in Kansas City. Since then, Mr. Berkowitz has been actively involved as a trial lawyer and has served as lead trial and appellate counsel in courts, administrative proceedings and arbitration proceedings throughout the nation. His practice has included a broad range of complex matters, including antitrust, securities, banking, directors and officers, intra-corporate disputes, contract, business torts, construction, and class action litigation, as well as professional liability (accountants, lawyers, architects, engineers and others), and insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Berkowitz has acted as a private professional mediator and arbitrator in several commercial disputes.
