Professional Profile
Mr. West has a general litigation practice that has provided him the opportunity to represent various businesses and individuals in state and federal courts as well as state administrative proceedings.  Before joining Berkowitz Oliver in 2006, Mr. West primarily represented defendants in product liability cases at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP.  In addition to product liability cases, Mr. West continues to represent clients in class actions, professional negligence, employment discrimination, construction law, intellectual property and other business law and tort disputes.  In 2007, Mr. West successfully obtained jury verdicts for defendants in cases involving consumer warranty actions and premises liability allegations. Most recently, in 2008, Mr. West obtained a defense judgment for defendants in a bench trial in Missouri state court.
